snapped my aeriel off recently-complete divvy on electrics so...if i may?
is it a big job-there's cable flapping about everywhere...?
any suggestions where i can get a new one-are they generic or do i have to look towards toyota etc?

You can buy new masts from Toyota, I think Milners sell them as well. and just swap them to your motor unit.

I've busted so many offroading, next time its getting one of those silly rubber ones!

go on e bay, search under worldwide enter 4runner antenna, youl see a 32" stainless whip one, no problem with it snapping, direct fit for US 4 runner, hence direct fit for surf, i paid £10, inc postage packing from ohio usa., much better than any telescopic one ive seen in the uk, 30 mins to fit. fantastic quality, superb reception, looks trick

i finally got round to fitting the mast, and a perfect replacement it is too, well worth £14, didn't take long to ship from u.s. either
