Hi,
Sorry to have been out of touch - have just driven with two 4x4's and two trailers piled 3ms with household goods all the way from SA to Zimbabwe, no easy task I may say, now on a mission to find new CV boots for the front axle ,as mine have split, before we do the next leg: 4000km from Zim to Kenya!
Yes, just bolted the rear wheel carrier from a Surf straight on - had to find a chap with an oxy torch to make the two "U" shaped internal reinforcing plates though. Otherwise it was an easy job. Had to remove all the number plate gubbinns and get a new square plate made which I just pop-riveted on.
(For those that are interested, have got pics of the ARB bull bar and the SAFARI snorkel on www.BUNDUBASHER.com.)
