Think I'd probably start all energetic with some hard house (probably lisa lashes or maybe my friends the cyberkitten lot), followed by getting bored of that after 20 mins driving and changing to bass heavy garage mixed by the one and only DJ TNT, which after 30 mins would probably be enuff. Listen to a bit of radio and realise that it's all a waste of time and there is nothing really exciting on, slot in a chris rea cd, maybe some dire straits, possibly some old 1994 stuff just to remind me of my youth, then flip the cd changer to something like 'greatest rock hits' so i can belt out my terrible singing at the top of my voice. Varied? I think so!

There are definately times when I'd enjoy listening to most of that little lot.

I have fitted an 80gb MP3 player in my Surf, it's about 3/4 full, and has a lot of very varied music on it. Pretty much something for any occasion.

I've even got a few audio books on there should the mood take me.

The only constraint I have on what I listen to is what my 5yo daughter can stand. Not that that makes much difference, she seems to like everything from Red Hot Chillie Peppers to Fat Boy Slim.

Thanks. Should be an interesting journey. The bit on the A66 between the M6 and the A1 used to be one of my favourite stretches of road for 'high speed cruising' (regularly did large stretches of it at 100mph+ in my BX 16v and 605 24v). It's gonna be dark and deserted. Also, there's a good chance of snow up on them thar hills.

What excellent taste you have,I'd think that you've been raiding my collection if it was'nt for the Oasis one as i've got the other ones on your list.
Hang on,I'd better check that you have'nt!

A positive attitude wont solve all your problems but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort!

Word of advice, Do not listen to Motorhead while driving. A young lady friend of mine was sitting at the lights when Ace of spades started on her cd, without thinking she just went for it !! total reaction to the music , just started to pull off. Very dangerous.
