      Tony

Looking at my copy of Autodata the 97 transit has 4+ engine options.

      4FA/FB/FC 70BHP
      4FD 70BHP
      4HB 76BHP
      4HC 76BHP

Also it's not a turbo is it.

After looking at all of them the Torques are.

          Stage 1 70Nm
          2 70Nm
          3 90 Degrees

Thanks Andy, whats the tightening sequence look like? Just a general middle to outside, up and down thing.

Does this mean you've broke the company van and need to fix it before someone notices?

Not quite, someone broke the van,it ran like s**t, and made 'orrible noises!

So I pulled the rocker cover and found lots of bits of valve spring floating around!

I'll say this for Ford, gasket set, head gasket and 1 valve spring, all in stock and came to £50ish.

                Cheap as chips!

Head came off in about 10mins! wish Lindas 3.0 was that cheap and as easy when I did its H/Gasket last month.
