these tyres look the same the bf goodridge clam to have very good side walls
does anyone have any experience of the Fedima Fronteira i want to get a set of
4 tyres but dont want to pay extra money just for a fashionable name on the
side of the tyre i have read that at,s are as good as mt,s off road and have less rd nois so i thinking it will be a set of ether of the above
my brother had some bfg at,s and they just span on a water logged field and made a mess but i put this down to them being nearly 14" wide i will no dout
find my self in 6" of wet mud and cross wet feilds so i need them to be suitable
for this but will also carry my godson at motorway speeds the size im thinking off is 31x10.5 r15
    any advise appreciated
    thanks paul

Couldn't comment on the fedima tyres as I have no experience of them. My old 2nd gen had BFG ATs fitted and was quite capable when off roading. I would spend the extra on them. If you do a search for BFG you will find they have been discussed before and are recommended.

They are remoulds, have the same pattern as the BFG AT's but made by another company.

Some say remoulds are fine, some disagree. I have never had them on mine but when the time comes I will stump up the £600 or so for the BFG's.

Fitting crap tyres has been in my experience false economy.
        l'm FAME-ous!

You need to remember that unless you have access to all the tyre fitting equipment that you'll need to budget for fitting.

The last time I bought tyres independently myself it cost me £15 per tyre for fitting & balancing.

The saving I made was lost after the fitment to my Surf, the only real bonus was that I had rubber that no tyre fitters stocked in the UK (Kellys)

Saw these on a Defender the other day. Looked decent. But they don't seem to come in the size I want.

Like others have said...pay the extra for the tried and tested...if you can. I don't think they're so much "fashionable" as they are trusted.

Edit: Actually...they do come in the size I want.
