  • Off Road Tyres

Right I am in a bit of a dilema now!.

I was looking at 33x13.50/15 LTB's....... BUT......$168 a tyre!!!! plus VAT and Shipping!! (they were $115 and the exchange rate was 2:1 when i started looking!).

Soo now I am looking for tyres between 32" and 34" to fit 10x15" rims so anything wider than 11.50. Oh and must be rather aggressive (more than a BFG more akin to Swampers!) at around £100 a tyre max!! any suggestions?

Very tough to get something more agressive then a bfg for less then £100.

You'll be looking at maxxis probably but even still there not bogger agressive.

the only thing you'll find at less than £100 a tyre and that aggressive is remoulds, a number of them are primarily aimed at LR's so 16" rims, thinking bronco grizzly's and insa special tracks to mention a couple of names, and you pay a little more for not so common sizes (ie 15") you might get a 33x12.50 or 33x13.50(maxxis)

incidentally, just looked up the insas and the special tracks now come in 31x10.50x15 for anyone that's looking for a cheap set of pay & play tyres - they're shocking on the road though.

I used to use BRONCOS all the time & they are a good tyre.
            http://www.bronco4x4.com/productDeta...&categoryID=87 BRONCO ROUGHRIDER:
GRIZZLY CLAWS ARE GOOD OFF-ROAD but very noisy on the TARMAC also wear down very quickly on the Roads. Go for an A/T Tyre to suit both uses.
