  • Mastercraft Courser MT's

I bought the 33.12.5x15 MT's, made by parent company Cooper in the USA.

supplied with 15x10 black modulars from Silverline4x4.

On road they are very good, a bit of noise but thats to be expected given the open tread pattern.
I'll will be offroad on Saturday and I'll add to this thread after that.

They did really well in the dry/mixed conditions of Drumclog on Saturday.
    Seem like a good purchase.

they are MT's, the Grabbers were AT's and were excellent off road but I'm hoping/expecting the MT's to give a bit more grip.

just need more mud to test them

Lol I am just not sure to go for MT's or General Grabber AT's on my new wheels that is why I was asking....
Let me know when u been a reall muddy place if they are much better...

otherwise I might just go for AT's seen as I do a fair ammount of road miles too....

              Thanks Alan

Yeah I agree they look much better I am just wondering on the wear and tear on the road....

will it be much quicker changing time then AT's?

the tires I have carry a 45,000 mile guarantee for road use in the US so I'm hoping to get a few years outta them.

That aint bad at all although that means changing them once every year and a bit for me tho...
I do about 30k a year on avarage....

Think I am gonna get a bike for the normal miles.....
I think I might just have to have two sets of wheels.... looks like it is gonna be worth the spend....

                      Thanks for the advice Alan

I do 6 miles a day for work (I know...it's a blessing) so I can more or less choose the tires I like but only doing 26 to the gallon hurts none the less.
