  • Dog Boxs -Guards - Covers Etc

This site www.lintran-products.co.uk might help or have useful stuff if like me you need to transport SMELLY & MUDDY dogs around. Several friends of mine have been using the transport boxes for years and I am waiting to order mine once I pick up my 3.0TD SSRX in a couple of weeks ( cant wait ! ).
Not the cheapest but probably one of the best for lightweight and durable boxes.
Guards – Liners - Seat Covers also available.
Mail them for a catalogue its worth a look.

Looking at the online catalogue they are going to be expensive....

I took the four legged fiend into one of the big pet shops firstly tried the dog in the cage and the secondly in the car... i have to take the boot cover out to get ours in but it fits. This unit folds up nicely when not in use and numb nuts jumps in without any argument all for about £100.. Stops him sitting on the seats when we have to leave him in the car for a short time.....
Im not a gynacologist but ill have a look

is that like an expensive version of a blanket?... i've no experience of dogs... and to be honest we don't really take the cat anywhere cos he's on mouse duty here!

I got a dog cage from http://www.hampsterbaskets.co.uk/ it is guaranteed rattle free and was designed specifficaly for the Surf. Several other members have got cages from here and are well pleased. They even know that the nearside wheel arch protrusion is larger than the offside and so is catered for in the manufacture. It was 5 days from ordering to picking it up. Well chuffed and so are the dogs.

I made my own from plywood and square mesh wire for the Landy I used to have, it was fun and only took a day, looked pretty good too and it was for sweet FA almost. My dogs dont chew btw so light plywood isnt a problem.
