I was looking at some nice stainless steel ones on a Merc estate in the s****py. I would only have needed to drill 16 holes in the roof.
        It's only a hobby!

www.4x4accessoriesandtyres.com is where I got mine. Stainless with plastic ends. Mount from above without having to remove the roof lining.

            Cheers

                  You mean these?......
These are the Pug 406 bars, Escort estate ones are the same. £20 from the breakers, To fit them you need to drill three holes down each side of your roof.

do you need to remove roof lining to install them or do u use self tappin screws? that seems like a cheaper and nice way of doing it, they look good, just abit worried about the roof leakin if i did it

Yep, you gotta take down the headlining, but it's not that daunting a task, as it's a stiff headlining so it drops down as a complete panel.
Yes you have to drill the roof 'cos the rails bolt up from underneath. If you get some, make sure you get the rubber gaskets that go under each foot of the rails to prevent water leaks.
