The car has been fitted with a UK spec clutch and solid flywheel –more reliable and cheaper and easier to replace if you ever need to -do a search for problems with dual mass flywheels and you'll see this is a good thing. She’s also had new bronze bushes, front wheel bearings, cam belt, stainless “cat” back exhaust and has just had the front brakes overhauled with new discs, pads and caliper as we’ll as a full chassis lube job.I've just changed the oil and filters too.
I use the car for a 65mile round trip every day and in the last year the car has been to Scotland, Cornwall and across France. She runs really well with no smoke. I wouldn’t hesitate to jump straight in her and head off around the world. The bodyworks reasonable rather than immaculate – in particular the bumpers are in a bit of a state.
