After over eight years this highly reliable machine is no longer required due to to loosing the horses,
will check engine serial tonight as well as mileage, but close to 100k only
only averaged about 4K a year miles as mainly towing boxes and muck trailer, usual issues eg the transfer to 4wd sticks, but new battery, and most tyres as new.
Just don't want to see my old friend broken for parts
engine starts first time every time and pulls like a train, an ideal project.
Main reason I am getting rid and not hanging on for the snow where I use it to tow my staff out every year, is that the bushes on front lower suspension arm need replacing, and I just do not have time or tools to do it, and most garages want to fit whole new arm, only MOT failure apart from that is washer spray not working!!
This old 4wd has pulled Defenders out much to my delight and is a man's machine!! given the kids years of delights plodding through the fields
can drive away but MOT lapsed as stated
