Breaking 2.4TD Surf 1991 5 door

Hi Sparx.

Ok, here goes. I have owned my first ever Hilux (K Reg Surf SSR-X) for precisely two days and I love love love love it (why oh why oh why do people drive saloons????).... However, there are a few of things I need.

Firstly a spare tyre (the one on there was slashed on a council estate in Warrington before I bought it...) do you have one available?

Secondly - rear passenger side seatbelt - that is where my 18 month old son sits and I want that sorted before I put his child seat in.

Thirdly - audio speakers. Mine seem to be ok but I guess a couple of spares wouldn't go amiss if one gets blown.

Fourthly - Motor for electric aerial antenae. I will consider buying the aerial too as a complete set, if need be.

ok...Spare wheels...i have a set of four steelies that i guess i could split up (mine never did have a spare!)..im still gonna be left with 3 odd ones tho :-s tell you what..ill split the difference...£20 for 2 :-) and ill keep 2 spares myself!...

Rear belts...Mine has the lap belts fitted...im guessing you are arfter the retractable variety?...let me know if lap belts will be ok tho...you can have the lot for £20

Speakers...mine have already been sold im afraid so cant help you with those..

Electric Antenna...the areal part of mine was snapped off...so i know that bit is not available...its been left standing a while so ill check out the motor out tho and confirm if its ok...assuming it is £10 and its yours..


still got loads of other bits available if you think of anyone else...i can take payment my paypal cash cheque etc...im guessing with wheels tho...you would be collecting?...

Well what condition are the spare tyres in? What brand are they? Are they legal?

I may take em depending on the condition. I don't do many miles anyway.

Hi the tires are legal...they are worn but certainly above the legal limit..as for a make...i cant for the life of me remeber!...(truck is at home...im at work!)...They were on the truck when i got it so are balened up etc and they both come with free air too gotta be worth a tenner each!...

where abouts are you?

sorry...i didnt explain that very well...the tailgate is gone...i have both rear doors still available!..all the doors are in good condition...no rust, dents etc


you can have one for £25 or both of them for £45

dependent on where you are in the world...they might be an option of meeting up as i travel a bit with work...altenitivly you are more than welcome to collect from northampton...or i can look in to options and costs of posting

The tallgate and mirrors are gone unfortunatly..both the rear doors are still up for grabs and are in great condition.. was sellin them off cheep to get rid of them for £25 each..but you can have the pair for £45 the bonnet is actually also gone..but i have one here (not the same color tho..and matted paint..but straight apart from the odd dink which could be sorted when painting..if you want the doors..you can have the bonnet free!

due to size etc i would recommend coleciton..im in Northampton and work in Milton keynes..so either location would be possible.

lots of other bits still up for grabs too..so if you think of anything else..let me know.

Hi all...

im breaking my grey 1991 Manual gen 2 surf...the engine is already used elsewhere...but everything else is up for sale....

was a shame to break it as it was in great condition with low miles..everything working etc..but my need for the engine in another vehicle took priority!

if anyone needs anything let me know and ill sort you out a sensible price either by replying to this thread or email.

Also remebered...The truck has a tow bar fitted too, so ill be selling that complete with ball and electrical socket etc

Hi Sparkz, as you proberbly know i'm new on the forum's and new to surf's, anyway on top of the dash i've got a bad rip. I've stuck a sat nav bracket over it but woryed someone will smash the window to get at it. So, have you still got the one you was breaking, is the dash gray and how much mate?
Also i might be interested in the centre console from the gear shift to the back because some dipstick has spilled super glue on it.

the dash was mint when i took it off..however in storage (ive just checked it) it has a little scratch in front of the pasenger...we are talking tiny..but wanted to make you aware of it...

i noticed your near nottingham?...as luck would have it im off to a mates house this weekend in worksop to help him move..so will be heading up the A1...if your interested i could meet you on the A1 for you and drop it off?...

i dont have the center console im afraid..its enjoying its new home in my pickup which didnt have one :-)
