  • Chrome Bull Bars for sale

    Hi

I have a wrap round chrome bull bar on my SSR-G which I would like to sell on.

The bar seems to be in pristene condition and is made by Abta Works. rather than put it on ebay and have it snapped up by a trader I would rather offer it to the Surf family.

Here are some pictures of it on my Gen 3 but with all that chrome I assume it may have been designed for the gen 2.

Please contact me direct or post with offers, sort of ebay without the faff! The bars are very heavy so collection may be the only option.

Will leave the thread to run for a couple of weeks and see what happens, will be away from my computer for several days at a time so please dont worry if I dont follow up this thread immediately.

          Bids so far

          Hi

Have a bid of £150 so far, please feel free to register your offers on the forum so everyone can see that I am handling this fairly!

Took the bars off today and they are in great condition, no rust or major blemishes in the chrome, basically they look pretty new.

Having trouble removing the two brackets that attach to the chassis... they are so well bolted on that I'm beginning to think they are part of the car!

May be interested in a trade for the Gen 3 bull bar, I have a wanted ad elseware on the forum with a Jpeg of what I would like.

My surf now looks very stubby without an A bar, but I still feel this huge bull bar would look better on a Gen 2 with chrome bumpers or a gen 3 if you want a really agressive look!

May be away from my laptop for several days so please dont get upset if I dont reply to emails... might be better to post on the forum anyway.

          Best Regards

          Mike

              bull bar

I will increase that by £10. So the bid is now £190.

                        I'm Back!

                        Sorry Guys

Been working abroad for 2 weeks and Clients promised internet connection simply would not work so could not look after this thread.

Give me a day or two to decide what to do, bids seem a little low as these bars are huge and are in great condition. I may transfer to ebay as I have recieved a couple of emails saying my sale on this forum is unfair. At least ebay will have a definate end date and that will be that!

Shame as I wanted to keep the traders out of the way.

Reserve will reflect the £250 bid that was emailed to me today.

Will of course check with my surf dealer to make sure bars will fit a gen 2 before making any transaction!

                        best regards

                        mike

                          Bars now advertised on Ebay

                          Hi

I've made the decision to move the bars on to Ebay, mainly due to a few grumbles that came in whilst I was away from my computer for a week or so.

Please follow this link if you wish to bid, the auction will run for 5 days so will be ending around Tuesday ish.

                          http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...tem=4512971957

Sorry about the extra 5 days for those who have already bid, both on the forum and privately. At least this way things will be entirely fair and someone will wind up with a great christmas present!

Bet Ebay never thought of that.
Nice bars after a complete engine replacement don't think the missus would let me.
