KNZ185 AirFilter & Custom Exhaust

Hi Folks,
I'm extremely new to using Forums and I'm also a new owner of a 1996 3.0 td Surf. And a big thanks to everyone on here, as you helped with the purchase of my Surf, with the details and advice which is already on here.

I'll attempt to keep this short and to the point.

I'm looking at swapping my Custom Air filter and Custom Twin Exit Exhaust for the standard equivalents.

I can provide detailed pictures of both and more details if required.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with these parts at all, its just i would like the standard parts on, as the missus isn't to keen.

The exhaust has only been on for just under a year and the filter will last for ever as you just remove it and give it a clean in warm water.

Look forward to hearing back from my first post and also looking forward to being a regular and getting into the Surf Schene.

I have a standard exhaust that just flew past mot without a hitch, but i'm looking for a stainless steel exhaust, may even swap u my standard air filter too pics will help me decide

i might be interested, my exhasut was fitted new last year for its mot, i would not be wanting an exhaust thats loud though, is that why your wanting to change it ?

Hi,
I dont think its to loud, but ive never been around another Surf, so im not sure.
I just wanted the car as standard as possible. Ive already removed a Induction Kit, which is availiable if you want aswell. Just fits right in, no mods.
I dont mind a meet half way if you to see the exhaust or listen?

hi, who is the manufacturer and is it the centre and rear section or just the back end ? and can you prove how old the exhaust is as i have recieplts to prove my exhaust is only 1 year old.

I bought the car with the exhaust already on. It had been done in the UK and its Stainless Steel, so it should last forever really. It is the Centre and Rear with a oval tailpipe each side. Not to big.
Not sure what make it is or how old it is!
I'll try and get you some pictures.

yeah some pics would help, i never realised it was a twin pipe exhaust, it would be nice so long as it fits round my towbar.
