Oil in Asda seems to follow the price of diesel!

Theres no difference between Asda/farmfoods/lidl here, I've not seen cheap veg oil here anywhere since last summer, I've even ditched it for the deep fat fryer and stuck lard in there as its too pricey, the last reasonably priced was makro for a 20 litre drum a year back but I've stopped using them too for anything unless its in the MM.

If youre in business, get a Booker card. 20litres for £18.99. Saved me over £46 last week! Happy days.

...yeah me too Loobs. Just got mine back on the road after a break (God I missed her), 150 miles each day to work and back, looks like I'll be a regular in Bookers again!

                        Mph

Hi I have a 3 litre and regularly get 25mpg have not worked out my overall since I got the surf, sad that I am, I record all fuel and mileage.
I checked my speedo and trip against the map figures on the motorway (distances between junctions) and with a satnav and both mine are in miles.

Its in euro but it will give you a good idea of the real life costs of a surf over a 10 month period and 15 km of mixed driving .......
