I have just covered 100miles and my surf has used half a tank and mainly cruising at 65-70mph, surely this can't be rite is it ?

Anything between 20/25mpg is considered normal! some get slightly more some get less i get roughly 250/300 miles per tank depending on the roads, i mainly use "B" roads with very little use on anything else.
I'M ALWAYS IN THE SH'T, IT'S ONLY THE DEPTH THAT VARIES!!!!!!!!

Sit at no more than 60 for best fuel consumption, I've done liverpool and back home on a tank 320 miles or so, going either slow around town or over 60 on a dueller eats the juice, steady away at 55-60 is boring but best mpg. H

Can I just confirm wether the odometer reads in km or miles?
I always thought it was km on the surfs even with the speedo converted?

If you want to spend a weekend reading about veg oil look at the main forum page..

If not just put it in...smells great.

Been using veg oil for ages now. Just chuck anything from 50% upto 90% depending on the temp. Cant be doing with filtering old chippy stuff tho, I get 20 liter bottles from costco that are currently just under £19

I used it for a few weeks when it was under a quid a litre, truck run great on it just didn't like starting, that was at 50/50, oil in my local asda is as dear as diesel now so don't bother. H
