I'd like to improve the standard headlights on mine. I know there are lots of threads about HID etc. (some of them quite old) and I'm thinking rather than HID with all the legal/MoT issues (not to mention finding a quality kit!), perhaps LED H4 bulbs might be the way to go? LED performance has increased...

I had recently been on holiday for two weeks. Surf worked fine when I left.

Got back and batteries were flat. Didn't think much of it at first until I went round the front of it and saw a faint orange glow in the headlights...

Checked inside and, no, the headlights weren't...

I have read a few articles on the forum relating to headlight removal but always found it difficult to locate the botton grill attachments so I did mine today and took photos. Hope this helps.
