Hi all, just joined this forum although have found lots of useful info over the years.

Im looking for a 3.0 surf, second gen. As long as it runs with no probs and has at least 4 months MOT then im happy. Have around £1100 ish to play with.

Would prefer Hampshire/Dorset...

From what I gather on here....the main ECU is the same in 2.4's and 3.0's, can someone confirm that?

I'm thinking of taking one on our trip as a precautionary measure and have access to a 2.4 I can strip.

Is the 4x4 ECU the same on both models too?

my surf is still overheating. Have fitted a new head, old one was pressure tested and found to be cracked. Have also fitted new radiator, removed guts of thermostat and bolted the viscous coupling solid. I'm losing about a litre of coolant every 25 miles and appears to be pumped out of expansion pipe....
