SSR/V/X/G doesn't really matter, the original owners could (and often did) add almost all of the options available.
Clean and well maintained would be high on my list, the badge on the tailgate wouldn't.Do you know that, with a 50 character limit, it's

Just counted 13 for sale on eBay. I think there is two white/beige ones in there. You would need to check. Auto trader & Pistonheads usually have several too.
It's like everything, keep your eyes open and do the research, there is one out there with your name on it

what's yr spend ? import from Japan ?
I think it would help people if you specified what is the top amount you wish to pay.
Meanwhile, since you mention the pearl white colour - I wonder have you considered importing direct from: Japan ? It's a bit of a palaver when the vehicle arrives in port juggling MOT / Insurance / First Registration at your local Veh Reg Office but it can be done.
There are a number of dealers there with websites with huge choice of Surfs, incl. that colour ( which I dislike actually but I have noticed a LOT of them when
browsing the Japanese websites ).
Here's one such site : http://www.beforward.jp/
But there are others such as www.japanesevehicles.com [ I think ].
The advantage of 'going' to Japan is huge choice of models / colours.
I have not used them but ALGY's advertise that they will source you your ideal Surf in Japan and basically charge approx £500 for doing all the faffing around etc.. which importing requires.
The point is : either you are likely to have to compromise on the colour / condition of the Surf you buy; or you will have to pay ' the price' for getting exactly what you want.

Thanks for the reply, ive been having a look around but seems to be the car im after sells rather fast. Im willing to compromise on the colour.
Import i think will be an expensive option, the hilux being a second car i wont be looking to spend more than 2500. A project may also be of interest to me as i do have some spare time. Looking for something cheap and cheerful really.
