  • 2nd gerenation (ambulance)

    wanted a 2nd, that specifies on the log book as an ambulance, like the one of the pic.

    You can re-regester any car as an ambulance once you've 'converted' it. I understand its not actually that much effort.

      thanks for reply, do you know where i can fin what exactly i need to do?
      doe i will like something done already no matter the cond. of the engine
      like the one on the pic (that i lost, due all morning the net was down)

        I can guess, I'd guess have to prove some kind of need/work for it as well as just blue lights, stickers down the sides, a first aid kit and free road tax.

          Isn't there someone on here that has some kind of 'blue light' license?

          EDIT: I tried to find him, but he spells his name wrong and I can't remember exactly how he's done it.

            I used to look after 'Hawk Response's Surf. But havn't seen him around for a while.

            He did motorsport/event First Aid cover, and had all the lights, stickers and all the kits in and over his Surf.

                        Would using an ambulance privately need specialist insurance ? I know I had to go to a special insurance company to insure my astravan for private use..
