Why? He is in business to earn a living, not buy cars for two grand and sell them for two grand.

There are a few dealers lurking around these forums , making daft offers on cars , because they know times are pretty hard.
Then hey presto they advertise the car a few days later , and some unsuspecting forum member will purchase at near full retail .
Not really in the spirit of the forum , and pretty much frowned upon .

I think you're more cheeky than him for trying to sell your truck on the forum without paying the fee........

My ad is waiting for approval , been paid already thankyou very much , and there is a vast difference from £6.50 selling fee to £1.5k clear profit off the back of a forum member

Yes mate it was , I thought it best to try ebay first to give it a wider audience, I could of sold it for less than It's worth, but not taking a penny less than 3k for it.
                      It's a bargain at that.
If it doesn't go on here I'm gonna part ex against a van .

Down to the buyer and seller, simple as that, wether it is right or wrong is irrelevant, as is your rather asinine and puerile last comment.

I appreciate it's people's own choices , obviously the current economic climate is not helping.
And as far as my last statement you can take it as you find it.
I'm telling it like it is , the car needs to go as I need a van, it won't be getting sold for £1800 or straight swapped for - and I quote "a mint Renault Clio 51 plate and £1k cash" people just take you for idiots on eBay. I price checked the Clio at £900 .
Not really much more I can add to that.

A bit far to ship a truck to Mozambique from UK. You better off buying from Japan. Spares are readily available in southern Africa as there is a Toyota manufacturing plant in Durban.

AK Motors are not required to do things by the "Spirit of the forum". They are a car dealership, with all the overheads that that entails. If you think that a business should be run without an attempt to maximse profits, then I hope, for your sake that you never have to become self employed.
