i have a h plater 2.4 with a new head on it thats just sat there waiting to be finished off no tax and test if thats any good to you.

i have just purchased a 1993 2.4 SSRG
with RECARO interior
and will probrably break her up for spares next week,
i really dont know how it drives yet,
because its 350 miles away,
its only had the 1 owner and was traded in for a new van at a dealership,
so hopefully it will drive fine ?
i only wanted the tailgate and wheel carrier for mine after a little miss hap the other week,
so if there are any bits that you all require let me know,

Antenna & motor

Hi

Will you be needing the antenna and it's motor. It's the only thing not functioning on mine. No idea how easy it is to sort out but I'm guessing it would be cheaper to try myself, what's the worse that could happen.

Ssrg 1993 2.4

well i picked up the SSRG today from past manchester,
she drives spot on apart from the power steering is so stiff,
i was travelling back for 6 hours at 70 mph,
to my surprise she returned me 26 mpg,
a little less power than my 3.0td but still a very nippy machine,
wish my 3,0 td would return 26 mpg but its more like 17mpg,
well now i have to decide if to break it up for spares or not,
a difficult decision now after driveing her back,
being such a nice drive,
so any takers on parts required,
the engine really does seem to purr along,
whats it worth complete with all ancilaries and you can road test before being dismantled ?
i actually let it run for 1 hour just to make sure it didnt overheat before i left manchester,it drove perfect,not the usual stinky black smoke model,
any takers for other parts as once i get enough enquiries ill break her up,
every panel on her is faultless not one single dent,
i bought this car to break as i need the tailgate and spare wheel rack,
and i have someone for the bonnet,grille,headlamps,radiat or,
so use your imagination its a SSRG model and every thing has to go once i start to take her apart,she is metallic red,
recaro interior slightly worn on drivers seat ?
limited slip diff complete axle ?
gearbox ?
doors ?
complete exhaust pipe ?
sunroof ?
rear boot spoiler with high level brake light ?
as new towbar ?
alloy wheels - tyres are not to good ?
interior lights,dash, ?
all parts which are not compatable with my surf will have to go,
put your thinking caps on ?

hows the boot carpet is it in good nic?? also looking for the interior light in the rear of the vehicle. Are the two rear chrome bumper ends in good condition?

Oh and the rear window workings on the pasenger side (not tailgate) i would need motor fixings everything (not the glass).
