  • 3.0 TD KZN130/185 Manual wanted

The spec. that I'm looking for must include the underslung spare wheel and sunroof. I would prefer an M / N reg. Will consider L. I would prefer fitted Recaro seats (which I believe come with the SSRX ??)
(Does the rear seat base tilt up to allow the back to lie completely flat ?)
It needs to be clean, tidy and not owned by a car-smoker. A service history as full as possible and all the necesary documentation to reveal its life history.
    Photos please.
All info to pmf @ finbo.org. Kind regards. Am based in Surrey by the way.

any of these in this thread of any interest? http://www.hiluxsurf.co.uk/forums/sh...ad.php?t=28905

btw i believe it's the ssrg that has recaros as standard, rather than ssrx

and yes the seat base does tilt forward so they go flat.

Thanks very much for the prompt reply Nero. I had already looked at the thread and had emailed from it. Any idea how Toyota specified the 'underslung spare wheel' ? I had a look at a couple of rear mounted ones today and I couldn't really get to grips with the logic behind it. You can't really open the tailgate when in tight parking spaces and the continually slamming of the spare on the gate must always end in damage to the window mechanism.

I think you can still open the tailgate window part without swinging the spare away, as for continually bangin the wheel against the tailgate, the latch mechanism looks pretty solid, so i'm not sure it's an issue. But this is my first surf and it's got an underslung spare.

Tailgate window motors go on every surf at some point, i think it's what they call built in character.

I'm not sure how they were specified, it seems pretty random to me. Some ssr's have the swingaway carrier, and some ssrg's seem to have the underlung. Probably a manufacturer option to have the swingaway carrier, as it doesn't seem to be model/trim specific.

Surf specs in general are pretty random, it seems to have been popular to take every option you could afford when they were originally ordered in japan.
