WTD: Surf..

Hi All,

My Skyline is now about to be sorted (big end went), so I am now on the lookout to buy a Hilux Surf at long last, as I have hills near me I want to attack

I have done lots of reading since I was last on here, and decided the 3.0 TD is the one to go for, which means an L reg or newer which is good as it allows me to put my private plate on the vehicle.

I only want to spend about £3,000 so guessings for this money I am looking at a 2nd generation model ?

Feel free to abuse me or help me, all comments welcomed

Hi,

You are probably looking at a 1992/3 2nd Gen for that money. I,ve seen people asking £3.5K for 1993 models.

3rd Gens started late 1995 but those are around £5K plus.

Righto, Thank you for your Advice...

It will have to be an L reg or newer as I have a private plate to put on the car which is L reg, so I will increase my budget...
