what are you looking for when you say deck the head unit or autochanger -
The audio system on my Surf is a radio/cassette unit and a separate single disc CD player/equaliser that is wired into the radio/cassette. The cd player is duff. But ... the good news is, I've been offered one now - have to see what it's like - apparently they are renowned for failing. Might just replace the lot with something more up to date.
