Anyone got a roof rack for a 94 Surf, Jap import?

If you can get some decent over-the-door bars to bolt across, you can always have a stab at making your own?

I spotted a home-made rack over on the Land Cruiser forum which I had a go at myself and it works a treat - one 20ft aluminium ladder, cut into thirds, wrapped around the edge with 80mm aluminum strip, bolted all together and bolted with L-brackets onto the bars themselves. Lick of Hammerite, some decent metal mesh attached in strips onto the former rungs, and bingo... a light, inexpensive, very strong rack, with infinite attachment points.

Hi Rob i have a really nice roof box come cage i used to use on my 94 2nd gen surf the sides are about 6" high & length is about 5ft long i live in Watford Hertfordshire so collection only looking for a fair offers.
