think my motors gone , or gear .
so a s/h motor from a mr2 mk2 near side ? Toyota should / will fit my 2.4 surf rear window ?? seen some on flee bay
n/s passenger not o/s ?

teeth have gone on the mechanism so I need a new one .. roughtrax ??
I thought I was gonna have to shell out for the motor too.

you mean the rear boot window motor gone? yes some other toyotas motor could fit, i think i still got some here

yes rear window motor
motor is buzzing no movement on window
I haven't had chance is remove the motor to inspect it

as I say I know the mechanism is shot , window not fully closed for months ... teeth gone
would the worn rack wear out the sprocket on motor ?
always kept it all well lubed
i'll have to remove motor and report back .

had motor off the circlip had come off
bad rust on gear and rack

bodged the motor together , should run of a bit , have you a window motor for sale ?
will need a new rack ass. is new the only option ? milners cheapest ??

I forgot to say earlier - the MR2 MK2 motor fitted perfectly. I just had to swap the plugs around.
And with the cog fix I'm sorry to say I broke the old motor trying to remove the old cog. It was fused together with rust.
