I don't know if that's porous, it might be weeping from the pinion seal...but I can't be sure...I was intending to strip the parts and scrap the casing with the chassis and engine block.

Any way to check for porosity? It didn't look that corroded to me...

Not a clue on postage, I'd need to weigh and measure it....
