I'm looking for the metal pipe that runs over the rocker cover on a 2nd gen 3.0 turbo diesel. Mine has a crack where it bolts to the inlet manifold (which I failed to miss when looking to purchase the car )

Can you take it off and get it TIG welded? It's cast aluminium.

Sadly not. It has cracked around one of the four bolt holes, and I don't have the bit that cracked off.
I have no idea how I didn't see that when looking at the car but hey ho
