3rd gen auto selector

a 3rd Gen i have has had the original auto selector replaced with some monstrosity and i'd like to return it to normal spec. Any idea where i might get a replacement original and how eay it is to replace?

Bingo- at last. if you look carefully you can see insulation tape at the base of the selector. Mind you, it feels solid and secure
