3rd Gen Transfer Box Motor Desperately Needed
If anyone has the small motor to the rear of the transfer box ( 3rd gen 96 3.0 td) that engages the front prop shaft available I would be indebted for life !!. I have tried every possible means to get hold of one, my mechanic can get most import parts from the local Toyota dealer but this seems a bridge too far, I have trawled the breaker sites and contacted a grey parts specialist all to no avail. I have replaced the 4wd ecu which had failed and had the transfer box fixed internally and now everything works and we have had the truck in 4wd but only by manually engaging it as there are some broken teeth on the motor preventing it from engaging the actuator rod on the box. Any thoughts on where to get one or if anyone has a spare for sale would be really appreciated as I am stuck in 2wd and will need to tow in the summer and could really do with fixing this, many thanks ian
