  • Some bits from near the front bash plate

Again, another vague request for bits which will need to be furnished with photos to explain exactly what it is I'm after!

    The story goes like this:

I finally got around to removing the full set of bull bars from the front of my Surf. My intention is to replace it with a much smaller A-bar (which I already have).

The problem is that the A-bar I have will not fit onto my Surf as is.

The business end of the A-bar looks like this:

The same bits of the bull bars I removed look like this:

The remaining bits underneath the engine look like this:

As you can see, the bits that I am after are the kind of brackety bits that will link between the new A-bar and the Surf.

I have a bash plate & air con rads/fans (c/o Stormy some time ago) and I've never got around to fitting them because I intended to take the bull bars off first. If there is anything else obvious missing that will stop me from fitting these as well as the bits to fit the A-bar I would like those too.

Sorry for the rather vague nature of my request - my guess is that you good folks out there (particularly the breakers) will be able to fathom what I'm after!

    Thanks in advance, folks.

I found your PayPal details (toyotatony@hotmail.com) on another post so I've sent the money through already.

It's possible with all the bank holidays lately that they could have been delayed in the post but I just wanted to check if you had posted the bits (& if not this will no doubt jog your memory a little!) cos they haven't turned up yet...

            Thanks!

              Tony -

No sign of the bolts, brackets, etc turning up. I've chased things up with my local post office and there is no sign of them here. If you could chase things up at your end I'd appreciate it.

              Thanks.

You may indeed! I find they match quite well with leather trousers when I sit down for a nice cup of tea at home after a motorcycle ride...

After a Bike ride I find I have to take Leather of ASAP as they are usually hot an horrible to wear for any length of time in the house.
