its not a problem, rich gave me the heads up that some broke so i was expecting it, one question though as i've not seen these things fitted on a surf where the hell do the clips actually sit in the channel as it looks like the foam tape is the main thing for holding the deflectors and the clips are a secondary measure to keep them lined up on the door, or am i miles out? i had a rough look with the deflector against the truck door and that seems to be the idea that i came up with but if its different could you let me know

Tony i have just realised these deflectors are the 3.0 ones and the clips i have are for a 2.4's deflectors.I will send these up anyway and then you can at least get the deflectors fitted and i'll sort the right clips asap for you.You will have the clips and pulley Tuesday mate

ok rich no worries how many of the clips are there as i might be able to make the missing ones from some shim steel if needs be, i've made an example to see if it can be done and i have got a working one ready to try

cheers rich on a worse note i've just changed the pas belt and noticed the bottom pulley is deffo f##ked the outer part isn't connected to the inner so it's very limited mileage at the moment due to the water pump and alternator being driven on that part so i've gotta get it done now bugger!!! well its sort of seen it through til now so another couple of days won't matter then it's time to call in a few favours again to get it sorted on the lighter side tho if i do decide to sell the old girl (the truck not the wife well i'll get nowt for the missis) all the faults will have been sorted
