Hi all

After a set of the above tyres/wheels & tyres for my 94 3.0 surf, anyone have any before I bite the bullet?

Also got a nearside rear wind deflector missing and my ariels shagged

how much are you looking to spend on a set of 31" wheels and tyres secondhand as im looking at upgrading to 33's so my 31's my be available

To be honest as little as possible but I need tyres and have done plenty of time on the net searching out the 'best' prices, I know what I'm gonna have to spend if I can't get hold of a set second hand

the wheels are these

theres 5 of them including the spare which also has a 31" tyre
i have been offered £260 for them by someone locally but he said he cant get money together for about a month and half so id want about that for them tbh
and im in kidderminster

Depending on the tread depth they'd have done me, just spotted you're in Kidderminster [thought that was in Essex, I was thinking of Upminster].

Would cost me another £80-£100 to come and collect which means I'm back up to new tyre money

I have a set of 5 standard alloys all a bit corroded but what do you expect for a 15 year old car.

To be honest I would replace all the tyres, the 4 colways are trashed and the bridgestone I think is the original spare so probably not much use (apart from as a never used spare!!!)

I think 100 quid is a fair price.

It's actually tyres I need, I have nice alloys on my surf. I meant I would like to buy tyres but would also purchase tyres on wheels if I had to.

If you want cheap tyres, Colways are ok, they are remolds but they will last a couple of years.

he has helped me out a couple of times over the years, manages to get hold of most tyres and at a good price plus he will deliver them to your door.

Buy the wheels and tyres, put the tyres on your wheels and take the old alloys to the scrap yard and get about £6 a wheel back on them...job done.

If you want I have 4 Insa Turbo sahara 31 x 10.5 x 15 on standard alloys badly painted black you can have for £100. 3 tyres have 9-10mm one is 6mm

I think the courier is around £49 though!

Hi and thanks for the offer.

I have seen your tyres on there and they are quite pricey for a set of four that are two different pairs + a spare that doesn't look like it has to much tread on it [sorry]. If you add travelling to get them they're more expensive than a brand new set of Enduro's which are supposed to be quite good, I just missed a set of four on ebay that came with Surf alloys and matching Hankook tyres for £170.
Sorry not meant to criticise but even offered a set of five on alloys here [check first or second reply] for £260!
I hope you get what you want for them but for that kind of money I might as well buy new, thanks for posting though and good luck with them.

P.S. try putting tyre makes and tread depths on your ebay ad, it may help the sale
