Depends on the dogs you have but we didn't have much luck with the Halfords one (pets at home do them too) but the Universal seems to be ok even though it doesnt feel very sturdy!.
Two tips though (well that i found helpful is when you have two escape artists in the back), with the Halfords one use a couple of Zip ties to the headrests to make the fixings a bit sturdier so the dog/s cant get through the gap from underneath and drill a small hole in each of the slider adjustable bits on the sides and put a small nut and bolt through as it will stop the dog/s going through the sides. Hope this helps
Oh and this is good but a bit pricey http://www.roughtrax4x4.com/?doc=16&cid=245&vid=604
