              i wouldn't of thought so as i never had any trouble due to the lift mine was through neglect and not greasing it.

                You can run into trouble with 4" or more of suspension lift, the splined coupling only has a couple of inches in contact with each other, so it wears quicker, especially if you tow lots or abuse it offroad, which our truck get lots of both.

                I'm on our 3rd shaft, in 4 years.

                Spacers on the diff and t/case pinions would cure it, but i have 2 or 3 more props to use up yet....

                There is more impact on the UJ's with a lift too, as they are running at a steeper angle, so expect to replace them every couple of years on a lifted truck.

                Add harder to turn bigger tyres on top of this, and you can see why lifted trucks need more maintenance than a stock truck, its par for the course, you have to live with it.

                  i'm with you now Tony.i never realised the lift had much to do with the problem i had on mine but put together with the abuse my truck had and the lift then i can see why now

                    prop arrived today,fitted it with out snappin any bolts,no more vibrations,by the looks of the old prop it wouldnt of lasted much longer,thanks stormforce for the fast service
