Roof bars........Hire or Buy!!!

Hi All, I need a set of roof bars for a weekend coming up!

Willing to buy second hand at the right price, or hire for a few quid from someone??????

Mine is the KZN130 which I believe makes it 2nd gen!!! (Showing my knowledge again lol)

I got my thule ones off ebay the other year and i think it came to about 40 pounds ish if i remember right

All over £100 new, hence hoping to find 2nd hand or just hire a set for a few pints of the amber nector!!!!!

I think that because of how much they cost Dan that people won't hire them out.
I will say Dan is trustworthy as he has paid money for parts when he got home after i fitted them

Yea other half is a tad handy on ebay didn’t go for the complete kit just searched for the bars (there is a set on now for about 30 quid) then the footings and mounts if that helps.

is it the mitsi wheels that are on the blue truck i got here Dan and if so they are still here if you want them

Yep thats the mitsi wheels on the truck in the back of the workshop.I should be able to make a set of 5 tyres up i should think for them if they ain't got decent tyres on.It was Wiggy that was interested but i have found another set of wheels for him.
I have got another truck coming in the next week or 2 with blue colour coded wheels on them and i think all good tyres aswell.I'll let you know when i get the truck home

Wiggy how does the foot pack fit on the roof? Looking at the pics and really don't want to buy a set and find they don't do my car!

Just to double confirm I have the 1995 3.0 Diesel Surf.....

The pic looks like they have to fit onto something?
