        any luck on the pics for me, as long as the pitting is not too bad i may get away with taking it out with some honing or wire wool,

              Hi Guy.Yea it was the one that was ill.I got the task now of having to totally scrub everything now to make sure everything is ok for the other birds now,

                      sorry for taking my time to reply had a few probs with internet, do you know if theres any damage to the crankshaft on either engine as both of them look as though they've been exposed to the elements for a while, if the sumps off either block could you unbolt the con rods and have a look at the bearing journals for any damage, Guy

                        The block thats on the floor was taken out several weeks ago.I haven't got the time to strip the bottom out as i have a lot of other parts to get off for sending.Both engines had the heads go and they turn over ok with no sticking or anything
