has anyone got a good 2.4 bottom end or complete engine and if so how much including shipping to NN8 as the bottom end on mine has started to rattle a bit!

i got a 2.4 bottom end here thats being taken out of a truck next week
shipping will be £66 and i'll do the bottom end for £100

just thinking i could save you the postage as in a couple of weeks i am heading to N.Wales if that would be any help to you

just got to get someone else to see if they agree with what i'm thinking the noise is tomorrow and will let you know but i think i will be needing it but i will need to ship it as i'm the other side of birmingham and at the moment i wouldn't go any more than a couple of miles in it

if it comes to it i know biohazard has a complete engine that would be easier for you to fit as it would save you having to strip yours right down and sell the spares off as you can make your money back on the engine then

Thanks Richard , i have a 2,4 head replaced about 4 years ago C/W injector pump, manifolds and turbo £350 + transport

after pulling the sump off mine today, no.4 has screwed the bearing and the crankshaft so will be wanting the bottom end stormforce as i know that my top end is still good and its easier for me to put the engine back together in the motor! if you let me have your details please,

Yea its just the block with no fuel pump etc so all those parts will need to be fitted from yours.I don't strip the internals out as i wouldn't have a clue what i'm doing there

Hi Guy.
I have had another good look at the block and the rear pot has got some pitting around the top of it so i thought i better say now before i attempt to get the block out.Let me know what you want to do.

Its right at the top on the lip so it may be ok but i'll send a pic anyway

What a plonker i am.I got a 2,4 block already out on the floor in the workshop so i'll check that aswell and if its ok then i can send that once you see pics of them both
