    Is your clamp broke or just not getting tight enough ? If it's not getting tight enough then a few sharp taps with a hammer will fatten your battery terminal. Of course I can't condone such actions but have witnessed it in the past as a 'quick fix'

      Completely in half!

      Was tightening it today after fitting my new water pump etc and bang!
