Battery Terminal

Is your clamp broke or just not getting tight enough ? If it's not getting tight enough then a few sharp taps with a hammer will fatten your battery terminal. Of course I can't condone such actions but have witnessed it in the past as a 'quick fix'

Was tightening it today after fitting my new water pump etc and bang!

I can't really see 'cos of the wrapping!

Impossible to get though 'cos I don't use any credit cards etc.

Use an angle grinder to cut your earth lead as close as possible to the old clamp.

Heathen. That's what cable snips are for, not angle grinders.
