  • 6" spotlights. Half decent ones..

I'm sick of my tacky lil spotlights so im after a fairly decent pair.

6" only really. Got a decent set of 8" a while back but there waaaay to big to fit in the hoop of the TJM.

    Cheers!

Will be up for swapping my 8" if needed.

    Hi Rod,

I bought a pair of spots of ebay. They were sold as 'wipac' but were actually 'maxtel' brand. I complained and was told that maxtel manufactured them for wipac blah blah blah....

Couldn't be bothered to argue as they looked alright and were cheap. Exactly the same to look at as the ones here.

Have put 100W bulbs in them and they do work really well. Worth a shot but email them to check the brand as it's a bit cheeky if these ones are not wipac. (can't remember if thats the same seller I got mine from)

edit - yep that's the same seller I got my 'maxtels' from.

    Rob.

Mine are fitted on the bumper, so that they're just inside the normal lights. Removed my A bar.

Looks ok to me, will try and get a photo at the weekend when it's light.

That's a shame - they look like driving lights rather than spotlights. I'm looking for a pair of long range spots to go with my maxtel driving lights.

              Cheers,
              Rob.

Edit: yep I know I've just referred to my maxtels as spots even though they're really driving lights but I , like most normal people refer to add on lights as spotlights as a generic term

                'maxtel' spots:

Sorry about the poor quality pics - no batts for my proper camera.
