Do you mean front to back rails that you can fit stuff on or just a couple of Thule (or whoever) bars that go side to side for you to chuck an old bed (for example) on to take to the tip?

I'm after the Thule bars mate or similar I know halfudge do a budget bar but trying to find out if these will fit my surf using one of their helpful sales team is pointless.

I wanna rig some roof lights that can be removed easily.

Thanks for the link there mate. Comes to about £90 in total.

Not sure if this is me being tight but that seems a lot of shells just for a couple of roof bars.

Halfords 'value' bars are £55 for the bars and £15 for the fitting kit - £70 all in. When you talk to them, you need to refer to your surf as a 4-runner. Their little robot brains can understand that.

I have some in my cellar, but I am too lazy to get them out and sell them. Sorry.
