The Tom Tom may be getting confused signals from the satellite 'cos of all that bling on your truck.

£20 mate, take about 15 mins to fit, once you've got the dash clocks out.

No extra bulbs needed, they are electroluminescent!! All pre-wired with a control box to change from blue to green and everywhere in-between, just connect up to the positive and negative feeds at the multiplug on the back of the cluster, so they light up when you switch your lights on.
Haven't got any pics, but there are some on the 'Dash upgrade' thread from Rod Leach.
