He said he only paid £100 brand new cos he works at Mercy bends and they order a few at a time, so i'm gonna wait and see what he comes back with.
Hi Tony...dont be tempted to go down the major gadget ebay option...the alarms imported from Hong Kong suck ....fitted a scorpion SA30 alarm from ebay on mine....brand new £45 all in...bargain ...(see http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/SCORPION-SA30-...QQcmdZViewItem )...if you offer £40, he will take it!...mine is wired as to the central door locking to make the surf keyless entry...this is located in the drivers footwell...most of the connections are fairly straightforward and can be made only taking the lower dash off. The only awkward bit is getting feeds into the engine bay (I went through the aerial grommet and through a hole in the inner wing/flitch )...with some basic electrical knowledge and 2-3hrs, you should be able to fit one...if you decide to buy an alarm and need any advice on connections, send me a pm ...Ian
