or if anyone knows where I can get one relatively cheap!?

as far as i know on the 2.4 they're not to bad,but for the price of the exhaust why not see how much a stainless system will cost or just the part thats gone on yours
you may also need the sealing rings which are only a couple of quid each

good plan i was thinking of that too

also saw a link to a side exit doing away with the back box but it didnt work!

would i also need to replace bracket or is it only if its broken?

if you get an exhaust made up they should be able to relocate the brackets to where they are needed or even make up new ones
