With something as important as the front brakes mate I think you would be better buying new.

I had the same problem and 2nd hand ones are a gamble.

I got 2 new from Barry at Roughtrax and I'm glad I did!

I agree completely with Gary, such parts are so important you should not gamble with them.
I would go a little farther and say you should also replace both of them.
Certain items should always be replaced in pairs for safety reasons to prevent any imbalance in the vehicles handling/braking abilities. Such items include tyres, pads, discs, calipers, dampers, shoes, drums etc.
