rear diff front oil seal

  • rear diff front oil seal

    hi guys
    ive got a 1993 2.4 surf import ,
    and ive got a leek from the front oil seal on the rear diff ,
    its spraying oil onto my exhaust , and drips on floor when its standing,
    are they a big job to do ???
    and wheres the best place to get the bits from ??

      cheers john ,
      its the front of the rear diff where the propshaft joins it , behind the four bolt flange,
      but i will try milner , thats them down near matlock arnt they ??

        Thats right mate, but if you have been to there gaff before, they are no longer in that shop, they have moved further down the road and you take the first or second left down a lane and they are at the bottom of there on the right i forgot the name of the road.

        They are worth a try, but i would think that u may have to go to toyota for it... i would look at my cad but cant find the disk at the moment..

          just looked at there web site , and they list it for my model £3.50
          so i will give them a ring and see if there in stock,
