    Hi,
Whats up with your old one?
I just had one repaired (new top tank) for £45 -
    Just a thought.

Hi......did you get anywhere with finding a rad?
I'm looking for one too as the nearest repair shop is 100 miles away.

Hi Sorry but the garage is closed till the 5th Jan 04 so l cant get any spares. Plus Chris "Streetluge" has got my other spare rad he is putting it on his breaker just to check the engine is OK and then giving it me back.

            Radiator saga cont'd

Gave up and fixed it myself. Got hold of a Weller 175W soldering iron from the local engineering supplier, some heavy gauge solder and some flux paste. Took a wire brush to the crack (! Ooooh Missus!) and surrounding area, cleaned it and applied the flux paste and solder. End result - not pretty - but fully functional and only 45 quid!.
