        Hey Ant

How did the SVA go? Did the test engineer beef about bolts or grommets in the holes left by the rear carrier? As a matter of interest what size hole is left in the body after the bolts come out. I'm just asking so that I can prepare either bolts or grommets

I would be interested in a set of clear lights, Question is how much?

I don't have the surf yet, she should be landing in around 3 weeks. Let me get her through the SVA then I'll look start changing and adding on the toys

        Cheers

you can import them from jason burtmann (burtmann industries) in the US... but they'd nees a bit of jiggery pokery with indicators etc. as the US have red indicators on the same as the tail light.

they're the lexus ls200 (altezza) style

            Scuddy,
Dropped off for SVA / MoT this morning. Had phone call now it has been checked over once to say they will :-

            1) Loan me stock wheels - mine are 175's on the rubber when they should be 165's

            2) Loan me back section of exhaust - mine isnt standard

            3) Tidy up a couple of wires

            4) May need to disconnect the indicators in my wing mirrors

They will then present for the SVA, everything else I did is fine though which is good

Holes for grommets / bolts. Rear wheel carrier is 8mm if I recall and 5mm for the small wing mounted wing mirror. I have some mushroom grommets if you need some drop me your address and Ill pop them in the post.

I dont have exact price on lights to hand atm, if you would seriously like a quote them mail me at info@japanicity.com to remind me and Ill sort out a quote for you.

I think I can get my hands on the required size blanking/mushroom grommets, I'll drop you a line if a I can't.

I think my wheels and exhaust are OK as manufacturers originals & don't think wing mirrors have indicators but will take hint and disconnect if they do.

Sorry for delay in response but have just got back from weeks holiday. Hope the SVA went OK?
