I've been in contact with both of those companies with exactly the same idea.

4x4 Accessories quoted £288. Formula 4x4 £344, but they weren't so sure they had a combination that exactly suited a Surf. They could happily quote for a 4Runner mind you.

Both quotes include VAT and delivery.

Quite tempted by the 4x4 Accessories quote, but also trying to source a cheap rim set and then fit some of the Greenway Machos. 2inch tread

          Might be!

Going to Langdale, twas pre-booked b4 I went offoff roadin

I will probably luv it, just a bit cheesed with the damage my last excusion cost me!

plus, ever time I turn up, everyone has better treads than me!

Its only my superb driving skills that allow me to keep up with the others!

just imagine what I could do if I had some traction!

          £300 is way too much!

I just wanted someones cast offs, cheap, so I could wreck em!

try ATs... might be more suitable... it's getting dryer now and at least they're more suitable for on road use if you have enough of the offroad!

Just spoken to 4x4Accessories and Tyres about buying a set. They only have 3 of the Colway MTs. Apparently Colway are having a real problem supplying them at the moment and they've been on to them for several weeks now to get some more.

Their next choice of cheap MTs was Premier, but that bumped the price up by about £60.

I have the original 15 inch wheels off my surf 215-r15's. They have OK road tyres with about 5mm tread left. You can have all 4 for a tenner if you want.

Are they off a wide body? They don't look as deep as the wheels off mine. If they are then I'd be interested, if a Surf Train can be arranged.
